美國 FCC 業餘無線電會員申請 （二）：

要在美國成為火腿族的一員，首先是要申請成為 FCC（聯邦通信委員會 / Federal Communications Commission） 的會員（Apply FCC Amateur Radio Member），取得 10位數的 FRN 註冊號（FCC Registration Number）才可以去申請考試，FCC 現在是使用 CORES 系統（COmmission REgistration System）來註冊成為會員。

FCC CORES 系統功能：
Register and Manage the 10 digit FCC Registration Number （FRN）
View financial standing （RED or Green Light Status） with the FCC and make payments
Retrieve payments awaiting completion
Enter and pay Application fees manually
Retrieve and pay ULS fees
File and pay annual Regulatory Fees
Manage Incentive Auction financials

申請步驟：
1. 首先是要在 FCC 的網上註冊成為會員
FCC 的網上註冊網址：https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do

選擇中間的方格 REGISTER

Create New Account 網頁 → 輸入個人資料

完成所有個人資料 → 在網頁底按 Creat Account

Creat Account → Create New Account - Confirmation

確認電郵完成後 → Username Login

創建完成新的會員戶口後，FCC 會根據輸入的電郵箱地址，發出確認電郵，收到 FCC 電郵需要按連接作確認，電郵地址是很重要，將來 FCC 祇是會用電郵來連絡。

2. 在 FCC 的網上註冊 FRN：

選擇 Register New FRN

FRN Registration - Registrant Type → 選擇 An individual → 選擇 Yes → 按 Continue

FRN Registration - Individual Type → 選擇 CORES FRN Registration → 按 Continue

FRN Registration → 輸入個人資料 → 按 SUBMIT

FRN Registration Confirmation

有了個人的 FRN 號碼，便可以找尋所在地區即將舉行的考試，並註冊申請考試。多溫習，一定會成功考取執照的。
