第三個要安裝在微星（MSI）GS60 2QD Ghost 龍魂電競筆電（Gaming Notebook）的操作系統是 Linux，因為筆者需要開發 OpenWrt 和 Andriod 項目，所以安裝 Linux 是必需要，但 Linux 操作系統有不同的發行版，包括 Ubuntu、Debian、Fedora、Linux Mint、gOS、Slackware、Red Hat、CentOS 和 openSUSE 等等，在 2013年7月時，筆者是使用 Debian 7.1 GNU/Linux 來開發 OpenWrt，而且 OpenWrt 也建議使用 Debian 系統，所以都是首先選用 Debian 系統。

步驟 2：用 Windows 系統分割好硬碟 (分割硬碟 200GB + 200GB + 200GB= 600GB)，首先安裝 Windows XP，然後安裝 Windows 7 操作系統，最後安裝 Debian 操作系統。

步驟 4：Debian 安裝主畫面（Debian GNU / Linux installer boot menu)
進入安裝 Debian GNU/Linux installer boot menu
選擇【Install】◆ 一定要選 Install（Expert Install 密碼設定有問題！）

Configure locals 選擇【United States – en_US.UTF-8】

步驟 6：鍵盤設定（Configure the keyboard)

步驟 7：網絡設定 （Detect network hardware)
Detect network hardware 選擇【No】
Configure the network 選擇【Continue】
Configure the network hostname 輸入【debian8】選擇【Continue】
步驟 8：用戶和密碼設定（Set up users and passwords)
Root Password 輸入【******************】選擇【Continue】
Re-enter password to verify 輸入【******************】選擇【Continue】
Full name for the new user 輸入【alpha】選擇【Continue】
Username for your account 輸入【alpha】選擇【Continue】
Choose a password for the new user 輸入【******************】選擇【Continue】
Re-enter password to verify 輸入【******************】選擇【Continue】
步驟 9：時鐘設定（Configure the clock)
Select your time zone 選擇【pacific】
步驟 10：分割硬碟 （Partition Disk)
Partition Disk 選擇【Guide - use the largest continue free space】
選擇 【Delete the partition】
選擇【Guide - use the largest continue free space】進行 Partition format
步驟 11：安裝軟件（Configure the package manager)
Scan another CD or DVD ? 選擇【No】
步驟 12：安裝軟件 （Configuring popularity-contest)
Participate in the package usage survey? 選擇【No】
步驟 13：安裝軟件（Software selection)
Debian desktop environment 選擇【 】◆ 一定要空白不選
SSH server選擇【*】
Standard system utilities選擇【*】
步驟 14：安裝 GRUB 模組（Install the GRUB boot loader on a hard disk)
Install the GRUB boot loader to the master boot record? 選擇【Yes】
Device for boot loader installation 選擇【/dev/sda】
步驟 15：安裝成功了！
Finish the installation
步驟 16：啟動 Debian 8系統
Debian GNU / Linux 8
Core：3.16.0-4-amd64
