安裝 Debian 7.1 GNU/Linux 與配置圖解： 

在製作 DIY - 智能小車的時候，需要改裝 TP-Link TL-WR703N 路由器內的固件作無線遙遠控制，發現了這個迷你的路由器加上 OpenWrt 系統，功能非常強大，OpenWrt 固件可進行自由配置，OpenWrt 系統是一個 Linux 發行版，OpenWrt 組織便提供了源程式碼，可以自己編譯個人化的固件，而固件是很適合於嵌入式裝置，所以為了要編譯 OpenWrt 程式碼，電腦要有一個 Linux 操作系統，但 Linux 操作系統有很多發行版，包括 Ubuntu、Debian、Fedora、Linux Mint、gOS、Slackware、Red Hat、CentOS 和 openSUSE 等等，最後選擇了 Debian 系統 (OpenWrt 也建議使用)。

 

步驟 1：首先是從網上下載 Debian 系統，注意的是一定要 32位元的系統，筆者選擇 Stable Release DVD i386 版本，共三隻 DVD (debian-7.1.0-i386-DVD-1.iso，debian-7.1.0-i386-DVD-2.iso，debian-7.1.0-i386-DVD-3.iso) ，下載後，最好檢查 MD5，沒有錯誤便可以燒錄。

筆者是利用一部舊的電腦，當然配置也不是很好，但作為實驗 Linux 之用，是已經足夠，不用再化費買一套新的電腦，便宜又環保。

CPU：Intel Celeron 2GHz
RAM：512MB
硬碟：40GB (分割硬碟為 12GB + 26GB = 38GB) 
操作系統 1：Windows XP SP2 (12.002GB=31%) 
操作系統 1格式：NTFS
操作系統 1大小：大約 2.45GB
操作系統 2：Debian 7.1 i386 (26.160GB=69%)  
操作系統 2格式：ext4 
操作系統 2大小：大約 2GB ( Linux 2GB + OpenWrt 5GB > 7GB)
Linux Kernel：3.2.0-4-686-pae

步驟 2：用 FDISK 分割好硬碟 (分割硬碟 12GB + 26GB = 38GB)，先安裝 Windows XP 操作系統在 Primary Partition，完成後便可以開始安裝 Debian 操作系統。

步驟 3：重新開啟電腦，放入 debian-7.1.0-i386-DVD-1 DVD，在 BIOS 顯示時按下 F11，進入 Boot Menu，選擇 Select the First Boot Device【CD/DVD】。

選擇【Advanced options】
選擇【Expert Install】 

步驟 5：語言設定
Debian installer main menu【Choose Language】
Select a language 選擇【English】 
Select your location 選擇【United States】 
Configure locals 選擇【United States – en_US.UTF-8】 
Configure locals 選擇 Continue

步驟 6：鍵盤設定
Debian installer main menu【Configure the keyboard】
Configure the keyboard 選擇【American English】

步驟 7：光盤設定
Debian installer main menu【Detect and mount CD-ROM】
選擇【usb-storage (USB storage)】Continue

 

步驟 8：網絡設定 
Debian installer main menu【Configure the network】 
Hostname 輸入【debian】
Domain name 輸入【】

步驟 9：用戶和密碼設定
Debian installer main menu【Set up users and passwords】 
Root Password 輸入【xxxx】
Full name for the new user 輸入【xxxx】 
Choose a password for the new user 輸入【xxxx】

步驟 10：時鐘設定 
Debian installer main menu【Configure the clock】 
Configure the clock 選擇 【Eastern】

步驟 11：分割硬碟
Debian installer main menu【Partition Disk】 
Partition Disk 選擇【Manual】
選擇 【Delete the partition】
選擇【Automatically partition the free space】
進行 Partition format

步驟 12：安裝基本系統和 Linux 核心 
Debian installer main menu【Installing the base system】
選擇【linux-image-686-pae】

步驟 13：安裝 Linux 模組
Debian installer main menu【Select and install software】 
Software selection 選擇【SSH Server】【Standard system utilities】

步驟 14：安裝 GRUB 模組 
Debian installer main menu【Install the GRUB boot loader on a hard disk】

步驟 15：安裝成功了！ 
Finish the installation
